The Tsunami Hospital Foundation was founded in 2005 in order to build a world class hospital with a facility for caring for orphans, in Tsunami devastated Sri Lanka.
The objective is to provide assistance to the peoples across the globe, primarily through the global private-sector corporate institutions, provide enhanced employment and skills advancement opportunities, in particular in the healthcare sector as well as further enhance the economic development and growth through the health care sector.
Sri Lanka has experience with some privatized health care institutions. The population is highly educated, and the healthcare system could be further developed. Sri Lanka Profile: literacy rate of 92.3%; population- 20,064,776 (sourced from CIA World FactBook).
We will be coordinating an Annual Fundraiser, toward the end of the year, in a notable location, with world-renowned attendees. In addition, we will be planning various other smaller fundraisers, throughout the year, at locations in New York City and Washington, DC. |
